Franklin M. Yannayon, 92, of Marshallville, Ohio, formerly of Seville, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at Brenn-Field Nursing Home, Orrville.
He was born in Seville to O. Mandas and Melza Flickinger Yannayon. He was a Medina County resident for 69 years and a Marshallville resident for the past 23 years. He was a truck driver for Don S. Grimm Trucking, Lodi, retiring after 45 years of service. He liked to cook, was an avid sports fan and a real people-person. Mr. Yannayon was a member of St. Michael Church of Christ, Marshallville.
He is survived by his sons, Raymond (Lillian) Sr. of San Marcos, Calif., Harold (Louise) of Erie, Pa., and James (Rhea) of Chippewa Lake; daughter, Margaret Surrarrer of Lodi; brother, Roy of Wadsworth; sister, Dorothy Sweatt of Cuyahoga Falls; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; six stepgrandchildren; nine stepgreat-grandchildren; and additional children, George of Florida, Elda Jones of Marshallville and Margaret Meeks of Burton City, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Donna and Ruth, and daughter, Janet.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Marshallville Park.
